Our Charity is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming lives through education, empowerment, and sustainable development. Established in 1987 by a group of passionate young visionaries, we are registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act 27 of 1989. Since then, we have worked tirelessly to break the cycle of poverty and inequality in the most underserved rural communities of southern Tamil Nadu.
Our work focuses on Empowering the most marginalized women and children, many of whom have endured generations of social discrimination, poverty, and abuse. We believe that change begins with opportunity.
A New Chapter of Leadership
In 2010, Jesuran Smith Stanley a dynamic young social activist with a background in IT and an MBA took over the leadership of Our Charity, ushering in a new era of transformation. With a fresh vision and unwavering dedication, he introduced innovative approaches to community development that have since broadened the charity’s reach and deepened its impact.
